Amy
& Dan
For the gorgeous Amy and Dan, we created a look that felt effortless, modern, and quietly fashion-forward, though every detail was carefully planned and executed.
We leaned into the single-stem rose aesthetic, a style that continues to lead modern wedding design. White roses placed individually in cylinder glass bud vases brought structure and rhythm to the tables while keeping the overall look clean and unfussy. It’s a minimal approach, but one that needs precision: spacing, stem length, vase choice, and candle placement all matter. When done well, it feels natural and relaxed; behind the scenes, it takes time, restraint, and a strong design eye.
The décor was intentionally pared back to let these details shine. Glassware and candlelight added warmth and reflection without cluttering the space, allowing the room and florals to work together seamlessly. The result was an atmosphere that felt calm, elegant, and contemporary.
The styling details followed the same modern direction. Amy’s oversized hair bow (a key trend for 2024 weddings, solidified by Sophie Habboo in her wedding to Jamie Laing) added a soft but confident statement, tying into the clean lines and monochrome palette of the day. It was a simple detail with real impact, reinforcing the editorial feel of the celebration.
The stationery played an important role in bringing personality into the design. We designed a bold monochrome suite with modern typography that set the tone from the start. As the wedding fell over Easter, the bride chose Lindt bunnies as place names, which we finished by hand with black calligraphy – adding a personal, playful detail. We also designed bespoke children’s menus featuring small monster motifs, created as a fun surprise for younger guests and a reminder that modern design can still be warm and light-hearted.
This is the kind of wedding aesthetic that looks easy, but actually takes very careful planning. Creating something this refined takes experience, and a clear design vision. If you’re drawn to modern, design-led weddings that feel effortless yet considered, we’d love to create that for you
